Heli Air is one of the largest helicopter operators in the UK, with bases in Denham (Uxbridge), High Wycombe, Wellesbourne (Warwick), Silverstone Circuit and Thruxton. Heli Air operates across a multitude of functions including helicopter pilot training, public transport, utility infrastructure surveillance, helicopter maintenance, helicopter sales and heliport operation.

Heli Air is looking to recruit 2 enthusiastic new members of its Operations Support team based primarily at our Denham or Thruxton bases (at times you may be required to work at another base). Though it is a varied role, some of the main functions are as follows:

•         Flight schedule management

•         Maintenance schedule management

•         Dealing with customer enquiries and bookings

•         Liaising with helicopter pilots to plan schedule

•         Maintaining customer database

•         Organisation of student records

•         Movement and fuelling of helicopters prior to flight

•         Loading and unloading helicopters

•         Creating Customer invoices

•         Populating flight records and ensuring accuracy

•         Providing airfield fire & first aid cover (For Denham only. Training provided by Heli Air)

•         Providing refreshments for customers

The role is 5 days a week based on the Operations Support Roster which includes weekend work.

The successful candidate will need to be a friendly, enthusiastic person who has an interest in aviation. The candidate will be well spoken with a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work well within a team in order to provide a smooth and professional service to Heli Air's customers.

Ideally the candidate will have the following experience and / or qualifications:

•         Sage accounts software

•         Proficient with Microsoft Excel package

•         Proficient with Microsoft Word package

•         Grade A or B in GCSE Maths and English

•         Customer interaction and sales experience

•         Excellent telephone manner

Part Time Role at Fairoaks Airport

Flight Operations

 

We are looking for flight operations team members who have an active interest in becoming a qualified helicopter pilot through our in-house staff pilot training assistance programme which will be made available to obtain your license.

 

This full time role will involve planning and supporting our dedicated Helicopter, Fire & Rescue equipment and  mobile team for helicopter operations throughout the UK plus planning and scheduling subcontract flying activates for both Fixed and Rotary Wing.

 

The role is varied and suitable for a graduate or other suitably qualified individuals.  Day to day responsibility will include:

 

• Overall Planning of Flying Events

• Ensuring adequate Availability for Customers all year round

• Ensuring all Timings for Passenger Numbers are optimised

• Production and review of Passenger Manifests and Flight Schedules

• Ensuring Aircraft, Equipment and Personnel ready states

• Oversee Supervision, Training and Development of all Operations Staff

• Oversee the rescheduling of Passengers in the event of Postponement

• Ensuring the Customer Experience is exceptional at every event in addition to email Communication prior to and after the event
